COACH'S NOTES ~ The time is now for manifestation.

Dreams.  Visions.  Inspiration.  These words stir the possibilities in our work, life direction and creative spirit.  Unfortunately, we often put our dreams on a shelf, waiting for the timing, resources or inspiration to bring us back into synchronicity with what we would like to create.  Now is the time to get started no matter how big or small your vision.  

Here are some helpful tips to get you started:
Action plan.  If you don’t have an action plan then it is time to get one.  A plan helps keep you in movement by giving you a focus and timeline that supports your attention toward fulfillment of your vision or larger project.
Focus. Practice the art of focus by giving 100% attention to your dream when you are on task and taking action.  Use focus to really hone in on the decisions and actions that will get you farther faster.
Inspire your greatness.  Reinvent your passion every moment.  Invent ways to feel the passion, joy and abundance in your dreams and vision. 
Journal.  Take time to write down all of those great ideas that keep floating through your head. 
Make a commitment.  Take time each week to work on your project.  Schedule time into your life to keep your momentum.
Practice self-care. A bit of attention to the basics can go along way.  Take a walk, eat healthy, drink water, read a good book, create space in your schedule for you to do what you love. 
Reflection.  A bit of time to reflect can bring clarity, opportunities to listen to your heart and life direction.  Create the space for personal time alone to add power to your dreams.
Remove obstacles.  Remove anything that is getting in the way of progress.  Fear, resistance, or self-doubt interrupts your positive flow.
Strategize.  A good brainstorming or a strategy session will keep you on track and add the needed support.
Take action.  Sometimes the little steps are just as important as the big ones. Break the project into smaller pieces and do what you can now toward the completion of your project.

Now is the perfect time to get started, create your visions and dreams and begin getting focused.  If you have been waiting to get started, why not begin right now?  Have great fun!

TEACHABLE MOMENTS
Zig Ziglar tells the story about an elderly man playing an organ in a cathedral in Europe. He was playing sad and melancholy music. It was sad because this was his last day as organist of the cathedral. He was being replaced by a younger musician.

At dusk, somebody stepped into the cathedral. Seeing the younger man, the organist stopped playing, locked the organ and slipped the key into his pocket. He was approached by the young man, who simply said, "Please, the key."

On receiving the key, the young organist went to the organ and began to play.

While the old man had played beautifully and skillfully, the young man played with sheer genius. Music such as the world had never heard came rolling out of that beautiful old organ.

This was the world's introduction to the music of Johann Sebastian Bach. The old man, with tears in his eyes, said, "Suppose - just suppose - I had not given the master the key!"

It's important to have roots.
In today's complex world, it pays to branch out.
Don't pine away over old flames.
If you really believe in something, don't be afraid to go out on a limb.
Be flexible so you don't break when a harsh wind blows.
Sometimes you have to shed your old bark in order to grow.
If you want to maintain accurate records, keep a log.
To be politically correct, don't wear firs.
Grow where you're planted.
It's perfectly okay to be a late bloomer.
Avoid people who would like to cut you down.
Get all spruced up when you have a hot date.
If the party gets boring, just leaf.
You can't hide your true colors as you approach the autumn of your life.
It's more important to be honest than poplar.
