Purpose and focus: to provide coaching through the mediums of technology and life! I am dedicated to the vision of supporting people, organizations and businesses to be empowered and live in the truth of their being.

“If we look at a field as our life, the crop we harvest is our experience of life.  If we don't consciously sow our thoughts, the seeds we plant may just be weeds from our past so that we repeat the same patterns over and over. If we sow new thoughts and tend the field with care, we can realize the Kingdom of Heaven on earth, right in the field of our life.”  (From: Mary Manin Morrissey)

“Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb.” (From:  Sir Winston Churchill)

Career is something that everyone has, but the level of joy and fulfillment a person has in their career is often “off the mark.”  The reason for this is that we often settle for something that provides for our basic living requirements, but does not truly fulfill us.  Our need for financial survival and safety often keeps us stuck and we refuse to do the actions that might bring us deeper levels of joy.

I remember when I first started in coaching. I wanted something more.  I was unfulfilled financially and personally.  The work I was doing and the “job” did not inspire or uplift me.  Then I started working with my own coach to develop my career.  This step of working with someone who empowered and inspired me to live larger while encouraging me to identify what I loved to be, rather than settling for what I had chosen.  Up until that time I had a limited view of my ability to create something different.  Through our work together we began to design a career that inspired me in the choices I would make and the actions I would take to develop a fulfilling career and future.

The choices that become available to us because we have a larger sense of self- empowerment reward us in all areas of our life.  We become more focused on the actions that bring us closer to the personal and professional experiences that bring us greater levels of happiness.  We are less involved in the nonsense of self-limitations or the excuses that keep us from receiving what we truly desire.

Our careers are an important part of our lives where we expend energy for our own fulfillment.  We are at choice to become more self-empowered in our careers, but it takes the desire and commitment to make it different.   We may choose to keep the status quo, or change.  Both decisions are a choice.

If you have been looking at your career and have not had the courage to do something different perhaps it is time to consider your options. Your options are about self-empowerment and choice rather than the self-limitations.

A life well lived is about empowered choice and the actions that bring you closer to your life vision and fulfillment.  May you have the courage to move beyond your personal limitations and into the creation of a career that is inspirational and magical.

Love & Life,

There was once a stone cutter who was dissatisfied with himself and with his position in life.

One day he passed a wealthy merchant's house. Through the open gateway, he saw many fine possessions and important visitors. "How powerful that merchant must be!" thought the stone cutter. He became very envious and wished that he could be like the merchant.

To his great surprise, he suddenly became the merchant, enjoying more luxuries and power than he had ever imagined, but envied and detested by those less wealthy than himself. Soon a high official passed by, carried in a sedan chair, accompanied by attendants and escorted by soldiers beating gongs. Everyone, no matter how wealthy, had to bow low before the procession. "How powerful that official is!" he thought. "I wish that I could be a high official!"

Then he became the high official, carried everywhere in his embroidered sedan chair, feared and hated by the people all around.  It was a hot summer day, so the official felt very uncomfortable in the sticky sedan chair. He looked up at the sun. It shone proudly in the sky, unaffected by his presence. "How powerful the sun is!" he thought. "I wish that I could be the sun!"

Then he became the sun, shining fiercely down on everyone, scorching the fields, cursed by the farmers and laborers. But a huge black cloud moved between him and the earth, so that his light could no longer shine on everything below. "How powerful that storm cloud is!" he thought. "I wish that I could be a cloud!"

Then he became the cloud, flooding the fields and villages, shouted at by everyone. But soon he found that he was being pushed away by some great force, and realized that it was the wind. "How powerful it is!" he thought. "I wish that I could be the wind!"

Then he became the wind, blowing tiles off the roofs of houses, uprooting trees, feared and hated by all below him. But after a while, he ran up against something that would not move, no matter how forcefully he blew against it - a huge, towering rock. "How powerful that rock is!" he thought. "I wish that I could be a rock!"

Then he became the rock, more powerful than anything else on earth. But as he stood there, he heard the sound of a hammer pounding a chisel into the hard surface, and felt himself being changed. "What could be more powerful than I, the rock?" he thought. He looked down and saw far below him the figure of a stone cutter.  (A Zen Story - Author Unknown)

"Great Lines from Job Evaluations"
Wouldn’t you like to use a few of these lines on some evaluations?!

s         Takes him an hour and a half to watch 60 minutes.
Has two brains: one is lost; the other one is out looking for it.
s         A photographic memory but with the lens cover glued on.
s         This associate is not so much of a has-been, but more definitely a won't be.
s         He set low personal standards and then consistently fails to achieve them.
s         This employee should go far, and the sooner he starts, the better.
s         Not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
s         Bright as Alaska in December.
s         Has two brains: one is lost; the other one is out looking for it.
s         Some drink from the fountain of knowledge, he only gargled.
s         Wheel is turning, but the hamster is dead.
s         Since my last report, this employee has reached rock bottom and has started to dig.
s         His men would follow him anywhere, but only out of morbid curiosity.

Thanks to my sister Bobbi for this giggle!  If you want the full list .. email me.
